A $450,000 office interior alteration is planned at 340 12 Ave. SW in Calgary’s Beltline. NCI Construction is listed as the contractor for the commercial project.

The work typically calls for drywall, electrical, HVAC and plumbing crews inside the existing space. At $450,000, it is the fifth-largest permit among the 12 Calgary permits collected this week, behind four new townhouse projects and ahead of the remaining permits.

Calgary’s new Rocky Ridge Athletic Park is now open beside Shane Homes YMCA. The $26-million City project includes two multi-use artificial turf fields, washrooms, parking, spectator seating and field lighting.

The new fields bring Calgary’s athletic park network to 15 parks and 31 soccer fields. The lighting extends playable hours, while the added turf and support facilities increase the amount of programmed outdoor sport space available in northwest Calgary.
